đđŽ Celtic cooperation: four new institutional contacts initiated

Bretaigne DAO is continuing to develop its research and cooperation network across the Celtic world.
Following the meeting held in Cardiff on 14 September 2026, we initiated a series of contacts with institutional representatives and offices in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
These approaches have a specific objective: to present our work on history, archives, cultural heritage, languages and digital humanities, and to identify new contacts who may contribute to research into the historical relationships between Brittany and the other Celtic territories.
We notably presented Linked Brittany, our project designed to progressively reconnect:
people â places â institutions â events â historical documents â archival references â digital reproductions â persistent identifiers.
The proposed exchanges concern, in particular, dispersed archival collections, the historical relationships between Brittany and Wales, Brittany and Scotland, and Brittany and Ireland, as well as Celtic languages, cultural heritage and digital research tools.
â ïž At this stage, these are initial contacts only: no institutional cooperation has yet been announced, and we are now awaiting replies and possible referrals to the relevant services.
After several months devoted to locating sources of Breton history across Europe, a new phase is beginning: reconnecting the institutions, researchers and territories that share part of this history.
