BREIZH × KERNOW — a new cooperation in sight

Bretaigne DAO is pleased to announce a very encouraging development in the growth of its relations with British Cornwall.

We have received a reply from Jo May, Honorary Secretary of the Cornwall Archaeological Society, stating that the association is “very interested in a cooperation with your project”. She explained that she is currently gathering the views of the various Trustees before coming back to us with a fuller response.

This opening represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen the links between Brittany and Cornwall around several lines of work: historical and archaeological research, exchanges of sources and publications, the study of older relations between our two territories, heritage enhancement and the development of shared documentary projects.

Bretaigne DAO is therefore continuing its networking work with scientific, heritage and cultural actors across the Celtic world, guided by a simple ambition: to better document our shared history, share knowledge and create new bridges between institutions and communities.

We are now awaiting the Trustees’ feedback from the Cornwall Archaeological Society in order to consider the next steps of this cooperation.
