How do I vote?

Your vote helps shape the project’s future. Follow these steps to take part in Bretaigne DAO’s decisions.

Before you begin

Prepare to take part

   The badge: a recognised right to vote

   Your governance badge must be active and recognised by the DAO. The amount of ELURC you hold does not determine your voting weight.

2. 2

   The wallet: the right Solana wallet

   Use the wallet that holds your badge, such as Phantom or Solflare. Check the voting power displayed in Realms.

3. 3

   Fees: check the network fees

   SOL may be needed for the transaction. Check the fees shown by your wallet before confirming.

Voting step by step

Five steps to take part

   Open Bretaigne DAO on Realms

   Use the “Go to voting” button on this page to access the governance space.

2. 2

   Connect your wallet

   Select your wallet and check that your participation in the DAO is recognised.

3. 3

   Read the proposal

   Review its content, the planned actions, the available choices and the closing date. Voting must still be open.

4. 4

   Choose and confirm

   Select your choice. Read the request displayed in your wallet again, then confirm the voting transaction.

5. 5

   Check that your vote is recorded

   After confirmation, return to the proposal and check that your vote appears.

Take part in governance

Don’t have a badge yet?

Send your request to the team with your public Solana address and a few words about your involvement in the project.

The award of a badge and its associated rights are subject to validation by the DAO.

Request a badge Do you have an older badge?

Ask the team to check that it is recognised before you vote.

Keep your access details private

When requesting a badge, provide only your public address. Never share your recovery phrase or private key. Check every signature request.

Before you vote

Do I need to hold ELURC to have more votes?

Holding more ELURC does not give you more votes. Participation is based on governance rights recognised by the DAO. The operator’s holdings are excluded from voting.

Do all badges allow you to vote?

The PARTNER and ORGANISER roles are forms of recognition and do not automatically grant voting rights. A separate governance right must be recognised.

My badge does not appear or voting is unavailable.

Check the connected wallet, whether the badge is recognised and the proposal’s status. If the problem persists, contact the team with the public address concerned.

Is identity verification enough to vote?

Identity verification does not replace a voting right recognised by the DAO.
